Spinal Manipulation at Johnson City Chiropractic Clinic
Spinal manipulation is considered to be the primary technique used by chiropractors when treating the underlying conditions that have been identified as the primary or root cause of a patient’s physical pain. Spinal manipulation, often referred to as a spinal adjustment, or a chiropractic adjustment, is an attempt to correct the misalignment of the vertebral joints, what is also known as a vertebral subluxation. It is this vertebral subluxation, or vertebral joint misalignment, that serves as the foundation for chiropractic care, and for which spinal manipulation is the primary treatment.
